2. Service Description

SteamApis provides developers, traders, and gaming enthusiasts with comprehensive access to Steam-related data through our API platform. Our services include:

  • Real-Time Market Data: Item prices, trading volumes, listings, and detailed statistics across thousands of games
  • Inventory & Profile Data: Complete Steam inventories, user profiles, avatars, usernames, and friend lists
  • Collections & Assets: Card sets, badge progress, and media assets
  • Historical Data: Market trends, price histories, and trading analytics
  • 3rd Party Market Data: Enhanced market information from additional sources

All data is provided in JSON-formatted responses for seamless integration into your applications.

3. Data Collection and Web Scraping

3.1. Data Sources

We collect data through various methods including web scraping, publicly available APIs, and user-provided information. We do not use official Steam Web APIs and operate independently from Valve Corporation.

3.2. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of all data provided through our Service. Market data, prices, and statistics may vary and should be verified independently for critical applications.

3.3. Data Usage Rights

The data provided through our Service is for your internal use and integration into your applications. You may not redistribute, resell, or provide direct access to our raw data to third parties without explicit written permission.

4. Account Registration and Authentication

  • Free tier with latest data only
  • Paid tiers offering 30-day or complete historical data access
  • Various pricing levels based on data scope and history depth

3rd Party Market Data (Optional)

  • Enhanced market information from additional sources
  • Available with different history periods and update frequencies
  • Optional hourly update add-ons available

API Endpoint Usage

  • Pay-as-you-go pricing per API request
  • Fixed monthly plans with included request quotas
  • Overage charges apply for usage exceeding plan limits
  • Multiple tier options to accommodate different usage volumes

5.2. Billing and Payment

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance
  • Usage-based charges are billed monthly in arrears
  • All prices are in Euros (EUR) and exclude applicable taxes
  • Current pricing details are available on our website and in your account dashboard
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension

5.3. Plan Changes and Cancellations

  • Plans can be upgraded or cancelled at any time
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
  • Usage-based charges are non-refundable

  • Our API may experience downtime or delays due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our API
  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
  • We reserve the right to modify API endpoints, response formats, or functionality with reasonable notice

8.5. API Abuse and Enforcement

We take API abuse seriously and reserve the right to suspend or terminate your API access immediately without notice if we detect:

  • Sending excessive API requests beyond your plan limits
  • Attempting to circumvent rate limits through technical means
  • Using multiple accounts to evade usage restrictions
  • Engaging in spam, phishing, or other malicious activities
  • Any behavior we deem abusive or disruptive to our services
  • Violation of any API usage restrictions outlined in these Terms

WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY DATA PROVIDED THROUGH OUR SERVICE. MARKET DATA, PRICES, AND STATISTICS MAY BE DELAYED, INACCURATE, OR INCOMPLETE.

11.3. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STEAMAPIS, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, websites, or applications that may be accessed through or integrated with our Service.

13. Termination

13.1. Termination by You

  • Your account shows signs of fraudulent activity
  • We are required to do so by law
  • Your payment method fails repeatedly

Upon termination:

  • All licenses granted to you will terminate
  • You remain liable for all charges incurred prior to termination
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive will continue to apply
